How We Carry Out a Hot Tub Lift

  1. 01

    Site survey

An Appointed Person visits the property to assess access, ground conditions and any obstacles.

  2. 02

    Site preparation

You prepare a level, stable surface and clear the area before the crane arrives.

  3. 03

    Crane set-up

The crane is positioned on outriggers or pads and the area is cordoned off.

  4. 04

    Lifting

The slinger-signaller attaches lifting straps and the crane carefully lifts and lowers the load into place.

Would definitely recommend A-Lift! They lifted my hot tub over my house with the minimum of fuss, promptly, professionally and a generally great bunch of guys.

Frequently Asked Questions

Contact Us
Should I choose CPA Crane Hire or a Contract Lift?

If you have qualified personnel and insurance to plan and manage the lift, a standard CPA crane hire may be more affordable. If not, or if you want to reduce your responsibility and risk, a CPA Contract Lift is the better option, with A-Lift planning, managing and insuring the lift.

What insurance is included?

A CPA Contract Lift includes £10 million public and products liability, £5 million employers liability and a standard £25,000 cover for goods on the hook, which can be increased if needed. Customers hiring under standard CPA terms need their own hired-in-plant and liability insurance.

What is the minimum hire period?

The minimum hire period we quote for is up to 4 hours on site (half day); if a lift takes longer, an hourly rate applies after that period.

Can you lift a hot tub or swim spa?

Yes, we regularly carry out hot tub and swim spa lifts, using a qualified Appointed Person to survey the site and a trained crane operator and slinger-signaller to carry out the lift safely.
